Quality systems and Risk Management ( December 03, 2003 - Milano Italy )

A.RI.M.AS. was invited to speak about Risk Management during the annula conference on the certifications of quality system organized by UNI. There are lots of connections between the corporate risk management and the quality systems. Both are developed to maximize the permormance of company processes and to minimize costs. It can be assumed that managing risks is possible to insure a good quality level. ISO guides are also used by many risks managers to put under control specific risks.

Conference on Business Continuity ( 13 May, 2003 - Verona Italy )

The business continuity plans are often vital for a company to survive. The stereotype of crisis are related to catastrophic events such as accidents, terrorism, tampering, ecc. and the facts of September 11th have demonstrated that the 'unthinkable' sometimes becomes real.
But crisis can also have less severity but the same high potential to break the continuity of a business.
A.RI.M.AS. organized a conference to discuss some particular aspects of crisis management and to study some practical cases in which the risk manager' s activity was essential to survive to a disaster.
